The design balances raw materiality with playful vibrancy. Textured rendered walls and white brick provide a grounded backdrop, contrasted by bright orange hexagonal tiles that introduce movement and identity. Timber shelving and vertical panelling add warmth, while exposed steel and stainless elements reflect the kitchen’s honesty. Large glazing connects the interior to the street, reinforcing Yum Char’s open, energetic presence.

Timber shelving and vertical panelling soften the industrial undertones, introducing warmth and tactility. Street-facing glazing and neon signage strengthen the venue’s connection to its urban context, inviting interaction and visibility.

The project succeeds through its confident identity. From the illuminated flame motif to the textured material palette, each element contributes to a cohesive environment that feels lively, contemporary, and distinctly memorable.
